Sandy Bratton - Owner/Broker (NLMS ID #267894; OR St. Lic.#ML-1474)
Sandy has lived in Roseburg since 1964. She and her husband Wayne have four children and 6 grandchildren. They own a ranch east of Roseburg where her husband, who is now retired from the construction business, raise cattle and horses. After 20 years of working in the fields of business and banking, Sandy opened American Home Lending, LLC in 2000. She believes in the American dream of home and small business ownership. She derives great satisfaction in helping people realize that dream of affordable ownership. Sandy has a deep commitment to her wonderful family, awesome employees, and this community. She believes business is all about helping the customer! Sandy believes strongly in giving back to the community in which she lives by contributing to and supporting local youth groups, civic functions and activities, service-oriented agencies, and local charitable organizations. She is very actively involved in the Shots for Tots program, a sponsor of Casa de Belen, American Legion Baseball, and Music on the Half Shell. Sandy is a member of the North Roseburg Rotary, Roseburg Optimist Club, and the Roseburg Chamber of Commerce. She has been heavily involved from the inception, with the annual “Duck Race” for Children which raises funds for the prevention of child abuse in Douglas County.
Sandy is currently serving on the Board for the Oregon Association of Mortgage Professionals, Douglas County Fair Board, Fire District 2, and is a past Board Member for Douglas Cares.
American Home Lending has received many awards which include: the News-Review Reader’s Choice Award for being voted the number one mortgage company in Douglas County for 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 & 2012. She has also received the Douglas County Board of Realtors Affiliate of the Year Award for 2009 & 2010, in addition she was presented with the “Excellence Award” in recognition of her ethical business practices from Rotary International, also the “You Make a Difference Award” for her community service and many kindnesses to others. In January of 2009 Sandy was chosen as the “First Citizen” by the Roseburg Area Chamber of Commerce for her unselfish devotion and distinguished service to the community.

Shannon Johnson - Loan Originator (NMLS ID #421711)
Shannon joined American Home Lending, LLC in June of 2013 coming from 23+ years in Banking with over 8 years Managing the Consumer and Small Business Underwriting for the 4 States they were located in. Shannon says making the decision to change her career path and join Sandy's team was the best decision she could have made. "The entire Team at American Home Lending, LLC is dedicated to helping people realize their dreams while providing outstanding service. I am excited to be a part of this Team as these are the same principals that I have always lived by". Shannon was born and raised in Roseburg and resides in Winchester with her children Tanner and Morgan and husband Kyle. She enjoys watching her Children play their various sports, reading and spending time with friends.

Christy has worked in the mortgage/banking business since 1988. Christy joined the family business in 2000 beginning her career with American Home Lending. Megan Hunter - Loan Processor (NLMS ID #883334; OR St. Lic.#ML-1474)
Megan joined American Home Lending LLC May of 2015. She and her husband moved to Roseburg in 2004. They have 2 young boys, Kasey who is 9 and Peyton who is 7. Megan worked 11 years in the banking industry before joining American Home Lending LLC. “I have recently changed career paths which was scary at first but every day I am thankful I did! I love working with such a great team! My coworkers are positive and care so much for their clients. I am so proud to be part of this wonderful team and look forward to being part of the home buying experience.” She loves being a mother, playing games, reading, hiking and spending time with her family.

Colleen Powell - Office Manager
Colleen is the newest member of the team and joined American Home Lending in February, 2017 as the office manager. Colleen is all about customer service and doing whatever she can to help make our customers home buying experience a memorable one! She was born and raised in Sutherlin and has lived in Douglas County her entire life. She is married to her favorite plumber Todd Powell! They have two children, Alex and Madison. Colleen has worked the last 16 years for the City of Sutherlin Fire Department and Douglas County Fire District No. 2. She enjoyed her time with the Fire District and loved the Firemen but felt it was time to spread her wings with a new adventure! “With my kids grown and on their own, it felt like a great time to add a new chapter to my life. I am very excited about working with the team from American Home Lending.”

Tawnya Brady – Support Specialist

Tawnya joined American Home Lending in July 2012. She was born and raised right here in Roseburg. Her husband, Dan, has been in the excavating business since 1982. Tawnya brings with her 25 plus years of bookkeeping/accounting experience. She and her husband own a ranch in Dixonville where they raise cattle. She and her husband have two children and a beautiful grandson. Tawnya also enjoys gardening, riding motorcycles, and just about anything else outdoors. She believes that you if treat people like you want to be treated then Life will be Fantastic.
